Based near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Brawdy Books is a small family-run publishing business producing high-quality publications based on material mainly taken from the Francis Jones Archives. They will also consider for publication manuscripts relating to Welsh history and genealogy.

The late Major Francis Jones, CVO, TD, DL, FSA, MA, KStJ, [1908-1993] was the first Wales Herald Extraordinary for several hundred years. He was a respected historian/author and broadcaster and commanded much respect in his chosen field. He told his son Hugh Charles-Jones that "The duty of an historian is to make his findings known to all."

Brawdy Books is dedicated to continue in that tradition.
