Around Cardiganshire (Ceredigion)
Llandysul
This small town lies on the River Teifi, a couple of miles upstream from Cardigan. Most of the shops are small and are to be found along the main street.
There’s a bus service to Carmarthen and other towns and road links have been improved in recent years and now provide speedy access to larger conurbations
The main attraction is the river whose foaming rapids attract canoeists of all abilities and in all seasons. Anglers also find this a popular venue.
In days gone by the area had many woollen mills, a few of which are restored and attract many visitors. The Ceredigion Museum in Llandysul is a source for more information.
Farmyard Nurseries is popular with locals and visitors and has good wide selection of plants and trees.
The nearby Cwmrhydneuadd and Saron Golf Courses offer 9-holes and equipment hire in a peaceful setting.
Apart from that there’s not much else in the town itself, apart from the usual pubs and B&Bs.
