Dinefwr Park and Castle
Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire

Ancient seat of princes of south Wales for over a thousand years, Dinefwr Park was transformed when the medieval castle, house and gardens were amalgamated into one large landscape after 1775. There are spectacular views overlooking the River Towy which flows through Carmarthen. Fallow deer and the rare breed of White Park cattle are in the grounds.
The house was restored a couple of years ago by the National Trust.
Access to the Castle is through the landscaped Park.
Location: On the A40 western side of Llandeilo.
