Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort

This is a reconstructed Iron Age fort nestling between the coast and the Preseli Hills and made possible by archaeological 'digs' over many years.
Living images of pre-history can be seen at this award-winning site where warlike Celts fought over and farmed the land 2,000 years ago.
Thatched iron Age roundhouses, a granary, smithy and animal shelters have been rebuilt on the foundations of the prehistoric originals.
Sculpture trails have been created by local artists and depict themes from the Mabinogion, the most ancient of Welsh tales.
Events held throughout the season portray a wide spectrum of Celtic culture.
