Located about a mile north of Felingwm Uchaf. This farm was home of the Evans family, one whom, Catherine, who married David Evans of Gilfach near Brechfa Gothi, had a son Evan Donard Evans who opened a private school in Carmarthen.
Their son was the genealogist Alcwyn
Caryni Evans (1828-1902).
The farmhouse is now rented and the land is used by a local farmer (2008).
Carmarthen Record Office has the farm accounts book dating back to the 1840s and it provides much information. A copy is also in Carmarthen Library.

Bryn Davies 19??- 2008
The owner of Cefn Meiros, Bryn Davies, farmed here for many years and built a bungalow [now rented] in which he lived with his wife, next door to the original farmhouse. In the 1990's Bryn's wife died and Bryn lived alone for many years at Cefn Meiros, then Brechfa. On Sunday 6th January 2008 Bryn Davies died in Glangwili Hospital after a long illness. He had retired from farming some years previously and lived in a small bungalow at Brechfa, three miles from his farm. Bryn was a fountain of knowledge about the area and always told a great tale. He still farmed until well into his late seventies and remained very active. Failing eyesight and hearing meant he was indoors most of the time, but he had many friends at Brechfa and he will be sorely missed.
