Pantglas Hall is a luxury holiday resort nestling in a wooded valley in the heart of West Wales. Situated near Carmarthen and 56 miles from Cardiff the resort provides an ideal base from which to explore the rugged grandeur and places of interest in Wales. Built in the mid-19th century, the original hall was destroyed by fire but its tower was preserved and forms the focal point of this beautiful site. The tower[right] features prominently and indeed is the first thing that you see as you approach Pantglas Hall from the main A40 trunk road. The largest of the original buildings is the Mews Block which houses the Coach House restaurant and most of the leisure facilities which include snooker room, snack bar, gymnasium, saunas, and table tennis. |

The self-contained indoor heated pool and the all weather tennis courts are located by the luxury log cabins. The resort is located on 42 acres of rugged land with some wonderful examples of specimen trees and a large ornamental lake. Wildlife is in abundance and at times, Pantglas is home to up to thirty-five different varieties of birds. |

Typical Log Cabin at Pantglas Hall |
An on-site team are on hand to offer every assistance to ensure that your stay with Tyler Holdings at Pantglas Hall is a memorable one. For those who have a leaning towards field sports we can offer fishing for salmon and sea trout in the river Cothi. A few brown trout lurk in the depths but as it is a spate river with mainly rocky bottom, the "brownies" are quite small. It is a very challenging river and one of the most difficult to wade because of the swirling current. A small charge is made for fishing permits and an England and Wales environment agency rod licence is necessary. |
