
Snow at Felingwm in 2010

We don't get much snow in Llanegwad but the winter of 2009/10 was the exception. It started snowing before Christmas, cleared up a bit, then returned with a vengeance!
Most of the UK ground to a halt, with only some main roads passable and road grit stocks running low.
Here in south west Wales schools remained closed for days and only essential journeys were undertaken. Although gritters salted the main roads the freezing temperatures meant that they did not remain ice-free for long. Side roads were all but impassable.
The photos below were taken at between 1st January and 6th January.
