Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea but lived for the last four years of his life in the Boathouse.The Boathouse is now a Heritage Centre dedicated to the poet.

Provides water for area from Kidwelly to Cardiff. Serves 400,000 customers.
Has become a valued amenity and attracts walkers, sightseers and picnickers, to a wilder part of the countryside. A visit to this remote site will reward the traveller with impressive scenery and a memorable day out.

St David, Patron Saint of Wales established a monastery on bank of River Alun in 6th century and the Cathedral built on this site.
Vulnerable to attack and was pillaged 10 times before Normans arrived and took over and appointed a Norman bishop at end of 11th century. 13th century extensions.
Much of the walls remain but only one original gatehouse has survived. The Bishop's Palace was destroyed in the 16th century.
St David's Cathedral is an imposing structure and cannot fail to impress.
